Giraffe Behavior
Giraffe behavior, as can be viewed on their photos, is very funny, especially babies are amusing.
There is a misconception that these animals are totally mute. In fact, they can produce a wide range of sounds as may be dictated by situation and mood. Calves usually bleat, bulls may produce raucous sounds as an act of courtship, and cows may snort if they notice a threat.

These animals inhabit savannahs on northeast Africa, and they feed on leaves of Acacia trees and other vegetation. They are sociable and gregarious, but males usually spar and fight for possession of females. Calves retain maternal bonds until about 22 months of age.
