Giraffes
Poaching giraffes and their babies still occurs, but hunting is banned.
These animals are social. Though they do not have strictly structured groups, they can often be seen in herds of 12-15 animals. Sometimes a male leads the herd. In most cases, however, it is almost impossible to determine the leader of the group, if there is any.

These animals do not experience any food shortage and habitat loss. They thrive on moist leaves that provide them with necessary nutrients and cover a great part of their water needs. They do not have to move for long distances in search of food. Poaching giraffes and their babies still occurs, but hunting is banned.
